Shaolin Fut Gar Gung-Fu Master Wing Koi Young
This website profiles my Kung-Fu and Tai Chi Masters. Kung-Fu being the late Master Wing Koi Young (Peter Young). Tai-Chi being Master Phillip Kwong (AKA Philipe Kwong or Philip Fong). I would also like to acknowledge the late Master Bill Young and Frank Devlin. Master Wing Koi Young and Master Bill Young were very good friends and belonged to the same club - The Wellington Chinese Martial Arts Assn. The Club is said to be New Zealand's first Chinese martial arts club; in fact the first lesson started at the side of Master Wing Koi Young's fruit shop in Moxham Ave Hataitai, PC Young Fruiterers. I have it on good authority that Bill always deferred to Peter and called him Dai Sifu, which basically translates as Grand Master. Special thanks to the late Stan Chun for providing many of the photos of the early days of the Chinese Martial Arts Assn and my Master Wing Koi Young.
In memory of my master (sifu) and dear friend who lived a wonderful life to 90 years (3 Nov 1925 - 29 Oct 2015) R.I.P.
Disciple of Wing Koi Young since 1979, Sīfu Glen Keith is the Chief Instructor for Shaolin Fut Gar Gung-Fu in New Zealand.
