Grand Master Robert Gemmell was among the pioneers of martial arts in New Zealand and my first Gung-Fu teacher between 1971 and 1978. Training in those days was demanding and required total discipline of mind, body and spirit. Like with all humble beginnings, it provided a pathway that enabled me to continue my journey of discovery. Thank you Robert for your tireless dedication to the Chinese martial arts and all the very best for the future.
